Lunch/Dinner - Rice - Chicken Kabab Biryani

Chicken Kabab Biryani

Basmati Rice2 Cups
Onions,Finely Slices1/2 Cup
Tomatoes,Finely Slices1/4 Cup
Whole garam masala1 Tbsp
Green Chillies3
Ginger garlic paste3 Tbsp
Chicken masala2 Tbsp
Coriander powder1 Tbsp
Turmeric powder1/2 Tbsp
Biriyani leaves3-4
Lemon2
Oil1/4 Cup
Yogurt/Curds1/2 Cup
SaltTo Taste

  1. In a food processor, add all the ingredients given for kabab and mix well. Let it get rest for marination atleast 1 hr.
  2. Grill them on a grill pan or shallow fry them in a frying pan. Take them out when they are red and keep aside until we need them again.
  3. Heat oil and fry onion slices until they are red. Add tomatoes, biryani masala and yogurt and mix well until the tomatoes lose their shape. Now add 1 cup of water and stir well. Add curry leaves and biryani leaves and mix well.
  4. Add mint leaves,coriander leaves and add 3-1/2 cups of water to it.
  5. Once the water is starts boiling add the rice to it.
  6. When the rice is 90% boiled, add fried/grilled kababs. Then place an a piece of aluminum foil on it and place the smoking white coal on it. Now drizzle some oil on the coal and cover the dish with a lid. After 15 minutes, remove the coal and dish out the recipe.
