Ingredients

Finely chopped mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts)1 cup
Dried rose petalsA handful
Toasted oats ½ cup
Salt and pepper1 pinch
Roasted sesame seeds2 tsp
Honey½ cup
Buttter1 tsp

Method


  • Dry roast the chopped nuts and keep aside.
  • In a non-stock pan heat honey on low flame for 3-5 minutes, stirring continuously. Add butter.
  • Now add all other ingredients and mix well.
  • Grease a plate and spread the mixture evenly on it.Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
  • Cut in blocks and store in air-tight containers.

Recipe Tips


  • A major hurdle in keeping your cravings in check is the issue of handling in-between-the-meals hunger pangs. It is often during this time that we tend to go for food which is unhealthy and loaded with calories. Sadly most healthy snacking options recommended by nutritionists and dieticians (murmuras, vegetable sticks and unsalted nuts) are drab and tasteless. Why not make a snack bar which is healthy and nutritious and is also not loaded with calories.
