Ingredients

Ghee1 Kg
Elachi1/2 Tbsp
Baking Soda1/2 Tbsp

Method


  • Put frying pan ready with 900g ghee in low flame.
  • Mean while in a pan mix maida, baking soda, 100g ghee. Knead well like chapati dough with required water.
  • Flatten the dough and cut horizontally.
  • do poori size balls and cover with wet cloth.
  • In a seperate bowl mix kova, elachi and little water. knead well to become soft.Take maida ball and do small poori. Poori middle should be thick and borders should be thin.
  • Put littli kova in the middle of this.
  • Do shapes for pooris by pressing corners.
  • Drop the pooris in the oil. Fry them in medium flame.
  • In another bowl mix sugar and water put on high flame for syrup. After 8-10 mins add elachi powder. Remove from flame.
  • Drop the pooris into syrup and dip them with a spoon. Do this for 10 mins and remove pooris. Store them after they becomes cool.
