Method
Put frying pan ready with 900g ghee in low flame.
Mean while in a pan mix maida, baking soda, 100g ghee. Knead well like chapati dough with required water.
Flatten the dough and cut horizontally.
do poori size balls and cover with wet cloth.
In a seperate bowl mix kova, elachi and little water. knead well to become soft.Take maida ball and do small poori. Poori middle should be thick and borders should be thin.
Put littli kova in the middle of this.
Do shapes for pooris by pressing corners.
Drop the pooris in the oil. Fry them in medium flame.
In another bowl mix sugar and water put on high flame for syrup. After 8-10 mins add elachi powder. Remove from flame.
Drop the pooris into syrup and dip them with a spoon. Do this for 10 mins and remove pooris. Store them after they becomes cool.
