- Heat a pan and add oil to it. When oil is hot add cumin seeds. Fry well till the seeds splutter. Add green chillies and garlic cloves.
- Add grated ashgourd and turmeric powder to it. Fry them for 3-5 mins or till rawness goes off from the ashgourd.
- Add tomatoes,mix well and close the lid. Cook this till the tomatoes becomes tender.
- Once it becomes cool add tamarind paste,salt and blend it to fine paste. Finally add Tempering to the chutney.
- Serve this chutney with Idli,Dosa/ Utappam,Upma,Roti etc…
