  1. Add salt,ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder to the mutton. Keep this mixture in cooker for 5 whistles by adding little water. Drain the water.
  2. To this add corn flour,gram flour, masala powder, chilli powder and salt to this. Mix everything and combine well.
  3. Keep oil pan ready to fry. Drop the pieces slowly into the oil and deep fry them till they turn to golden color.
  4. Drain the pieces and serve hot.

Lunch/Dinner - Rice - Mutton Keema Biryani

Mutton Keema Biryani

Mince/Keema 1 kg
Basmati rice ½ kg
Onion 2 (sliced)
Dry plums ½ cup
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
All spice powder powder 1 tbsp
Black cumin seed ½ tbsp
Bay leaves 2
Red chili powder 2 tbsp
Cloves 2 tbsp
Green cardamoms 2 tbsp
Cinnamon sticks 2 tbsp
Tomatoes 5 – 6 (sliced)
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Fresh chilies 5 – 6
Fresh coriander ½ bunch (chopped)
Fresh mint ½ bunch (chopped)
Clarified butter or oil ½ cup
Yellow food color 1/2 tsp (mixed in 2 tbsp milk)
Salt to taste

  1. Add in cloves, cinnamon, cardamom,cumin powder, all spice powder, coriander powder, red chili powder in it. Mix well and add garlic ginger paste, followed by mince. Let for rest for 30 mins to marinate.
  2. Boil rice with salt and black cumin, cook till half done.
  3. Heat oil in a pan, and sauté onions in it to golden brown color. Remove hlaf onions and keep it aside.
  4. Add tomatoes,bay leaf,plums and mince and allow cooking it on low flame for 15 mins.
  5. Put the cooked mince in a large pan and top it with green chillies and chopped coriander,fried onions and mint. Spread rice over it, drizzle food color on top and cover tightly. Cook it on very low heat for 15 minutes.

Common Meal - Non Veg Curries - Mutton Colocasia Curry

Mutton Colacasia Curry

Coriander Powder1/4 tsp

  1. Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker add onions sautee till it becomes soft and translucent. Add the mint leaves and fry it in the oil for 2 to 3 minutes.Then add the ginger & garlic paste .
  2. After the raw smell off ginger and garlic goes off, add the mutton and mix it all well. Fry the mutton with the masala for 5 to 8 minutes in medium flame.
  3. Cut the colacaisa into pieces and add to cooker. Cook for 2 mins.
  4. Now add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder , garam masala , salt and half cup of water into it. Stir it well so that all of the ingredients mix together and close the lid of the pressure cooker.
  5. Pressure cook it until the whistle goes off 4 times. After that remove from heat add lime juice.
