Sweets - Laddo - Sugarless Urad Laddo

Sugarless Urad Laddo

  1. Remove the seeds from dates and cut them into chunks. Belnd them into a fine powder,sieve it if necessary.
  2. Roast the urad dal till they become light golden color.In the same way roast the wheat bran till they leave raw smell. Powder them separately and sieve them.
  3. Now mix all powder ingredients together. Now slowly add honey little by little and mix the powder till it gets the moisture to do laddus.
  4. Take enough in your hand to form a golf ball-sized lump. Roll between your palms till smooth. Lay on a greased plate to cool. Repeat till all the mixture is used up.
  1. They can be stored for 2-3 months fresh in freezer and 15-20 days outside.
  2. Here I have used whole dal as it is, instead of broken urad dal.

Baking - Nutri Bars - Wheat Bran Bars

Wheat Bran Bars

  1. Melt the butter. Add beaten eggs into the mixture and mix well. Add essence and dry nuts.
  2. Mix all "Flour" ingredients and sieve them nicely.
  3. Mix the flour into the the butter mixture slowly. Mix the batter into thick.
  4. Spread butter on tray and dust it with the flour. Keep the mixture evenly on the tray. Pre heat the oven for 10 mins and bake this for 10 mins for 200C.
  5. Take out the tray and cut them into pieces. Keep it back to bake for 10 more mins.
  6. Remove it from tray and store them into a tight container.
Tips :
  1. Use butter paper on the tray before spread to spread the mixture.
