Rinse the mangoes, peel and chop them. Pour the mango pulp in a blender jar. Add powdered sugar and saffron strands
Blend the mangoes to smooth pulp. To thin down the aamras, add milk. Pour in small bowls and chill in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Garnish with saffron strands and serve it chilled.
Recipe Tips
It's time to ward off the summer blues with chilled Aamras. This Gujarati/Maharashtrian delight is plain mango pulp which is traditionally served with pooris.
