Veg Starters - Mushroom 65

Mushroom 65

Mushrooms1 Cup
All Purpose Flour/Maida1 Cup
Corn Flour1/2 Cup
Chilli Powder1 Tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste1 Tbsp
Curry LeavesFew
Food ColorPinch
SaltTo Taste
OilTo Deep Fry
Tossing
Onions,Sliced1/2 Cup
Green Chillies,Sliced2
Curry LeavesFew
Ginger Garlic Paste1 Tsp
Soya Sauce1 Tbsp

  1. Cut the mushroom into medium size pieces. Wash and keep aside. Take a bowl and all other "Deep Fry" ingredients (except oil) to thick batter. Add water as required. Add mushroom pieces to the batter and marinate for about 10mins.
  2. Take a pan and heat the oil for frying. Deep fry the pieces till they turn golden in color. Do the same for remaining bunches.
  3. Remove the oil from the pan. Add 1 Tbsp oil to the pan and add onions and green chillies. Toss them nicely till they turn to light golden color. Add the ginger garlic paste and curry leaves, gently toss them for 2 mins.
  4. Finally add fried mushrooms, soya sauce and salt to this toss nicely till the mixture combines well.
