Breakfast - Utappam - Jowar Utappam

Jowar Flour1/2 Cup
Rice Flour1/4 Cup
Green Chillies, chopped1 tsp
Ginger, grated1 tsp
Onion, chopped1 small size
Coriander Leaves, chopped1/4 Cup

  1. Mix rice and jowar flour with 1 and 1/2 cup of hot water. Make the batter thick with pouring consistency.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients to this and mix well.
  3. Keep the skillet high temparature and drop little oil. Pour the batter and spread gently. Add around utappam.
  4. Once its nicely cooked it starts to leaves side of the pan. Then flip the utappam and cook for 2 mins.
Tips :
  1. Add spoonful of batter and let it spread over by itself.
  2. Dont make hurry to flip when its on pan. Allow it to cook from other side.
