Cardomom powder | 1 tsp |

Method
- Remove seeds from dates and chop them into small pieces. Mean while keep milk for boiling.
- Take 2 cups of hot milk and soak the dates in it for 2 hrs.
- Take out the soaked dates and milk into a mixer jar and paste it nicely.
- In a thick bottomned pan add ghee. When the ghee melts add dates paste and milk to it. Cook this in high flame and keep slow when it boils. Make sure stirring it when it starts boiling.
- When the mass thickens add sugar and cardomom. Keep stirring continuously till it becomes like halwa.
- Take out the pan from flame when the ghee start oozing out. Add dry nuts on top of it. Put the mixture into a greased ghee plate. Cut them into pieces when it comes to room temparature.
