- Add the sesame seed to a non-stick, cast iron, or heavy duty frying pan. Heat gently to a low to medium heat. Keep stirring continuously until they are a very pale golden color and aromatic. They will glisten and start to pop when they're ready. Remove and cool on a metal cookie sheet. Grind in a food processor till they become nice powder.
- Put the sprouted date chunks into a food processor, and grind away for a while till you get a dough ball-type mass. Notice sticky gluten strings being expressed in pic.
- Mix all ingredients together and combine well.
- Take enough in your hand to form a golf ball-sized lump. Roll between your palms till smooth. Lay on a greased plate to cool. Repeat till all the mixture is used up.
- Store for up to 2-3 months in an air-tight container.
