Ingredients

Yogurt1- 1/2 Cup
Ginger, finely chopped1 Tsp
Chana dal1 Tsp
Urad dal1 Tsp
Cumin Seeds1/2 Tsp
Mustered Seeds1/2 Tsp
Dry chillis2
Coriander Leaves, chopped1 Tbsp
Curry LeavesFew
Green Chilli, Finley Chopped2 Tsp

Method


  • In a bowl mix rice with yogurt and salt.
  • In a pan put oil and add hing. Add mustered seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal one by one and fry well.
  • Add green chillies, red chillies, ginger and fry them . Finally switch off flame and add curry leaves.
  • Pour it on yogurt rice and mix well by adding coriander.

Recipe Tips


  • Let the rice completely cool before you mix the tampering.
  • Rice to be cooked with more water than usual.
