Fresh Grated Coconut | 1 Tbsp |
Garam Masala Powder | 1 Tbsp |

Method
Wash and soak Basmati Rice atleast for 1 hr. Soak saffron in 2 Tbsp milk. Cook the rice in 4 cups of water and drain the remaing water. Makw sure each grain of the rice is separate. Add salt and soaked saffron to this and mix well. Boil Vegetables as your choice and keep it aside. Fry half cup of onions in ghee which should turn to golen brown color.
Grind Masala Indredients to a fine paste.
Take 1 Tbsp of ghee in a pan and add the paste to it and cook for 5 mins. Add sugar,salt and curds, mix well.
Add boiled vegetables to it. Mix well and cook for 3 mins.
Grease a baking tray with ghee and sprinkle half fried onions at the bottom. Now cover with half the rice and press nicely. Now put one layer vegetables and spready nicely.
Put left over onions and remaining rice.
Cover it with foil and bake it for 10 mins at 150c. You can either cook it on tawa at low flame for 10 mins. Turn it up side on the plate.
