Method
In a pan add sugar and 125 ml of water. After 2 - 3 mins add lime juice. Make sure all sugar is dissolved in.
Add 100 ml of water in corn flour, mix well.
Add 1/2 Tbsp ghee, cornflour. Now switch on the flame Very low. When the mixture slightly thickens , switch off the flame and mix it.
Slowly incorporate sugar syrup little by little to the halwa and mix well.
Switch on the low flame and add remaining ghee little by little by mixing it. Medium the flame, cook till oil is slightly oozes out.
When the mixture becomes thick and jelly, add color and cordomom powder. Mix again. Add little bit of mixture on your plate, you will be able to remove this off, as it is jelly. Add broken cashew nuts to this. Mix and switch off flame.
Pour this mixture into a ghee greased plate.
Cut them into pieces after one hour.
