Bread Slices | few |
Oats | 1 cup, soaked in hot water for 15 minutes and drained |
Mint Leaves | big handful |
Coriander Leaves | big handful |
Green Chillies | 4, finely chopped |
Tomatoes | 4, finely chopped |
Potatoes | 4, boiled, peeled, mashed |
Onions | 5 to 6, finely chopped |
Green Peas | 1/2 cup, boiled |
Carrots | 2, finely grated |
Red Chilli Powder | 1 tsp |
Garam Masala Powder | 1 tsp |
Oil | as required |
Salt | as per taste |

Method
- Heat little oil in a pan. Add the green chillies, onions, tomatoes and carrots. Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add the mashed potatoes and green peas. Mix well by adding garam masala powder, red chilli powder, oats and salt.
- Stir well and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add mint leaves and coriander leaves. Remove from flame after a minute.
- Toast the bread slices. Add some of the oats mixture to a bread slice and spread evenly.
- Cover with another slice and cut into half. Serve with tomato sauce.
