Sugar Powder | 1/2 cup |
Ghee | 3 tsp |
Kova | 1 cup |
Condenced Milk | 1 cup |
Cardomom Powder | 1/4 tsp |
Almond,Pista - sliced | 1 Tbsp |

Method
- Place a non stick pan over the medium flam with ghee. Add condenced milk and kova to it. Cook the mixture on low flame with continuous stirring until it forms a thick fudge consistency.
- Meanwhile, in another pan add the mango puree,sugar,cardomom powder and cook for about 15 minutes. Add kova mixture to it and cook for 5 more min.
- Switch off the flame and let it rest for 10 mins to cool.
- Apply ghee to hand. When the mixture is warm enough crush it nicely with your hands.
- Take small amout of mixture and prepare pedas.
- Garnish the top with dry nuts.
Recipe Tips
- If khoya is not available you may replace paneer with khoya.
- I have also made burfi out of this same mixture. If you want to prepare burfi's, prepare a tray by greasing ghee or butter on the surface. Now add the mixture to the prepared tray and flatten it when it is hot.I used spoon to flatten the mixture.Don't forget to grease the spoon as well so that mixture doesn't stick to the spoon.Allow it to cool completely till set. Cut the barfi into desired shape.
