CommonMeal - Chutney - Coconut Green Chutney

Coconut Green Chutney

  1. In a pan add 1 Tbsp of oil and fry coconut 15 mins. Later add chillies, ground nuts one by one and fry for 5 mins. Transfer it to a seperate bowl.
  2. In the same pan add 1tsp of oil and fry mint, coriander and curry leaves for 2 mins.
  3. Once they become cool blend them by adding garlic,salt with tamarind water. Grind it to a fine paste by adding required water.
  4. Heat oil for tempering and add the ingredients for tempering in the order given. When the mustard start to pop, dunk the content into the prepared chutney and mix well
Tips :
  1. Serve chutney with dosa, idli, adai, vada, uthappam, pakoda, etc.
  2. You can also use curds instead of tamarind water.
