Ingredients

Maida (Plain Flour)1/4 cup
Corn Flour2 tblsp
Light Brown Sugar1 1/2 tblsp
Baking Powder1/2 tsp
Salt1/4 tsp
Egg1, medium, whisked
Plain Yogurt1/4 cup
Plain Milk1/3 cup
Lemon Zest1/4 tsp, finely grated
Nutmeg Powdera pinch
Oil2 tblsp

Method


  • Mix the plain flour, wheat flour, corn flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  • Mix the eggs, yogurt, milk, lemon zest, nutmeg powder and oil.
  • Pour this into the flour mixture and mix until combined. The batter must have a pourable consistency.
  • Heat little oil in a large nonstick pan. Pour some of the batter and spread slightly.
  • Cook for a minute or two on each side or until lightly browned.Remove and transfer to a serving dish.
  • Serve with a choice of toppings and syrup of choice.

Recipe Tips


  • Delicious and filled with goodness, these homemade multigrain pancakes make a great, healthy breakfast option. Serve with a choice of topping/syrup and fresh fruits.
